Maruti Suziki India Stops Production of Maruti 800

Its so sad we have to say bye bye to the most iconic car Maruti 800. Maruti 800 has the most amazing history and many among us has learnt driving and get our license on Maruti 800. Maruti 800 is the car of the millions of Indian middle class families.

Maruti 800 used to be the first car of many Indian middle class families.
From 18th January company has completely stopped production of Maruti 800. CV Raman, executive director MSIL said that, hence the production has stopped but the spare parts will be available for the customer at least for next 8-10 years. MSL has stopped selling the Iconic Maruti 800 in 13 cities Hyderabad, Banglore, Kanpur, Pune since April 2010.

MSL also comes up with the redesigned version of top selling brands such as Alto, Wagon R, and Swift.

The Maruti 800 was available in Rs 48,000 to 50,000 when launched in early 80s, which is now available in around Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom delhi).

The Maruti 800 is the second longest production car, next only to the Ambassador.  The Maruti 800 is the product of the Maruti and Suzuki Motor Co of Japan.
Maruti 800 was reliable and durable car and also affordable for most of the Indian middle class families.
Many People have their first car as Maruti 800.
Maruti 800 has the strong position and remarkable history in Indian Auto Industry.
